I likes your stepping stones and your solar lighting!
Be sure to show us pics of the teepee "in action". Gonna put a couple of teepees up in the garden, this year, too. Hope to go today and cut some canes.....that bamboo grows wild, all over the place around here...on the sides of the road.vfem said:Ok, here's our front bed we prepped in the fall. I removed the hay and put in some stepping stones as not to compact the soil where I need to walk. So far I planted some bok choy there, and fennel today. At the far west end of the bed I will plant some beans later in the season on some bamboo tee-pees.

My raised beds will be photoed later, I was just too busy today and was lucky to get some shots with my cellphone.
Thank goodness for clearance at walmart for the solar lights, and the stepping stones were left over tiles from a job my husband did a couple years ago. Hooray for leftovers!!!ducks4you said:I likes your stepping stones and you solar lighting!
Oh yeah, we chopped down a good 12 pieces off the side of the road to make teepees with. They also had some heavy duty pieces that are 5-6" in diameter. We're going to cut those to make a fence with. Free stuff rocks!!!!boggybranch said:Be sure to show us pics of the teepee "in action". Gonna put a couple of teepees up in the garden, this year, too. If any of your were closer I would let you dig out all the cool left over stuff I have under our deck. We have so many great 'freebies' just waiting to be useful.Catalina said:Leftover tiles? Yeah for real! Even though it has rained off and on today, its been up to 69, and yesterday was 75 and sunny. So hard to not plant. However, been worth getting lettuce, radish and other cool season items in. Probably won't have to cover any of that either.boggybranch said:Have updated one of the pics. Have only three more beds to make.
Planted beets and carrots in one bed and onions in part of another bed....so far. Our last frost date is April 10th.....sooooooo hard to wait. ESPECIALLY, when it's 79*F out there right now.
