What do you think, @catjac1975 :

If your pumpkins are ripe now, will they still be okay by the end of October?

I used to have trouble growing a pumpkin that turned orange by Halloween. After putting out blotchy green things a couple of times, I learned that there are several varieties that are early.

The white warty ones seem like they may be more fragile. I don't know if they will last. It has been tremendously hot and muggy here. However I have more coming. I always put out seedlings that I start. And then seeds at the same time. so I still have small ones coming. And actually more not quite ripe from the seedling patch. NYB they are ripe when orange-start out green.
