Some people have bad luck picking out a good horse, doesn't matter if it's a pony or not. I find smaller horses to be just more playful, you could almost call my horse 'boring and aloof' and the pony and minis 'active and curious.'
But they're all individuals raised in different environments with different treatment. So who knows...I hear some people drug their crazy horses/ponies so that the buyer thinks it's a good, calm horse, but as soon as the drug wears off at the new owners property, it's back to being a nutcase.

Red, I'm so sorry to hear you say that about your hubby...I hope his faltering is just a temporary thing while his body heals. Certainly, it must take a long while to get through an injury like he had, even though it seems fine on the surface.
