Didn't realize how big my paint mini has grown until the new filly stood next to her. =0

Fresh baled hay is a wonderful scent, very sweet and pleasant. If mice and possibly snakes didn't hide in it, I'd nap in the hay shed... :D

Minis are doing well. Mini was herding the filly away from getting too close to me, had to do some herding of my own! Such a brat! Also found out she's a bit food aggressive towards the filly, will have to remember that for when I introduce them with the big ones. My big mare can be a little bit of a snot over food as well.

They do get serious over their feed. I have to feed in order, lead mare first, then #2 mare, then mule and last the gelding pictures in my avatar. My husband fed for me one day and he unknowingly went backwards. He came home telling me how they were all biting and running at each other. I asked what order he fed them in and he told me. I laughed and told him it was a lucky thing those mares didn't eat poor Joe alive for getting fed before them!
