Baymule, I've got a picture for you. Now THIS is real snow. ;)

(This is also supposed to be a cornfield.)

I can't really tell how many inches we did get altogether. The wind has been blowing so hard, in some places I have 18" drifts and in others I can nearly see the grass. It got up to 31 today and while out doing my chicken chores it felt downright toasty! The sun came out for a bit around 4:30pm so I went out and shoveled the sidewalk and driveway. An hour later we had a blizzard that lasted about an hour.

SeedO, what is that a picture of? A white bedsheet??

Yup! A white bedsheet with a big white pillow on top. Hmm, I am tired....

That picture is from earlier today, there had to have been more than a foot on the ground! Usually you can see spans of rolling hills in the back with a huge barn

One of our geese was about drowned in it earlier today when it flew over the fence and landed in a snow drift. Lucky he has a long neck. :p
