ugh, my whole family from Fitchburg, Saugus/Lynn all the ways up to my neck of the woods in NH/ME border are in the blizzard area. expected totals 16-24"! :thwork called it off today except for our VT office was still expected to be open. i imagine they probably won't be there for long since they also have a blizzard warning going till tomorrow.

so far it is small flakes & looks like only an 1-1 1/2" on the ground.

Fighting is the worst. We had a great day. My husband was home, too, so the added adult is always a great equalizer. A couple mild skirmishes. Had a great time planting seeds. Replanted the seeds they started at home.. I am a great believer in "threats and promises." Ice cream bar for good behavior. Hours of drawing, painting, reading, games....Snow turned to rain. Little guy started to not feel so well. My husband drove them home around 430. So no overnight. I don't know if I would have made it. My husband wanted them to pick up all of the toys and games. I told him to just bring them home. That's where the fighting would have begun. I would rather do it-most had been done. Need a quick nap. Love when they come. Love when they leave.

Of course the most important part was playing in the snow in the midst of it. We had a flock of giant wild turkeys come through the yard. That entertained all of us for quite some time. Littlest wanted to pet one.Thatt would have been a sight.

@catjac1975 I went out in the heaviest of our snow (Thankfully we only got 7 or so inches) to get boys from exDIL . Everyone else had to work. Start of spring break. So I had the 2 (ages 6 and 9) all day. Was great until they decided to fight! *sigh* Hope all went well. Enjoy. They seem to be growing up faster than mine did!

I am sure Papa would have. (I think he was a bit envious that I had them all to myself.) Little does he know! LOL
It sounds like you had a great day with the boys. We shoveled, threw snow at each other, watched a video favorite , baked cookies and played in Grandma's craft room  and #1 grandson made me a bracelet and earrings. #2 Grandson wanted to make something for his other Grandma that has cancer to make her feel better. :hugsDid I mention I LOVE those boys. :love

We usually give them a little TV if things get too wild. The 2 older school boys are on a screen free week so we did not have any TV time. Really did not need it.. We did check the weather briefly. When my husband brought them home I think my daughter was still hoping for a sleepover. They will be here 5 times a week if I started letting them stay every time they asked. Grandma needed a cat nap.
