Yes, expect a full review first time you have to replace the batteries.

It is still lighting up a HUGE, bright area. I still carry the flashlight when I have to go to the coop or barn after dark, but rarely turn it on. Just as I get out of the back porch's light, I step into the area that triggers this little light. It lights up from half way between the house and the coop to halfway to the barn and is still nice and bright at the coop door and feeder. Which means that if I'm late getting home and half to dump a bag of feed, I don't have to juggle the flashlight to do it.
It's mounted about 8' up on a pine tree.
I have a motion sensor flood light on the side of the barn and have noticed that the 'improved, efficient' bulbs in it light VERY dimly when it's cold and have to warm up to give off much light. This little thing is just as bright at 15* as it is at 60*.
If I get though the summer without having to replace batteries I will call this little thing a success and start placing them in several places around the yard.
