Somehow, It's Funny that Way

I'd never heard of his family name, however. He was a Stephen Iggleden ... oh, that's a strange name! Son of a lady named Lettice. "Lettice?" Turns out that the history of the name "Iggleden" was from property named "Ickleden" in merry olde England. So at one time, it wasn't "Igg" it was "Ick." Oh my!

"Lettice" doesn't sound all that odd to me, but then again I have read Terry Pratchett's Discworld books, and am familiar with the character of Lettice Earwig ("or, as she insists it is pronounced "Ar-Wedg") the nosy, self important* and bossy witch who is Granny Weatherwax's main witching rival.

*SO self important that we find out (in The Shepherd's Crown), that she is completely immune to fairy glamor. She is INCAPABLE of being made to feel small or humbled.

Shouldn't @Dirtmechanic have something like this?
