So are cottonwoods, or honeynlocusts or Kentucky Coffee trees. Hell, a mature bur oak will drop 250,000 acorns in a yearI planted a Catalpa here last spring. I hauled it up from Calif where I bought it at a Master Gardener show. I like it. But many folks won't have one cus they are very very messy.
