Never had a fall garden before. I can't believe I have flowering kale and Brussel Sprouts still going strong! We have had several frosts and these things don't seem to care.

I am SO planting these again!!!

Um . . . just FYI . . . it's November. ;) LOL

It is exciting to see what can grow well into fall, isn't it?

Ok, so I am 4 days off...but I am still amazed! :gig

I thought for sure the really cold snap we had and the snow would have offed these plants. Instead, some of the older leaves got a little wilted. That's it! I just pulled those off, chopped them up and fed them to the ducks.

It is going to be warm (allegedly) for the next week so I should see some new growth. It will be really nice to have some fresh steamed brussel sprouts and fresh picked kale cooked in bacon grease for Thanksgiving!

I am still harvesting Jalapenos. It is the only thing left but is still flowering and I get a tub of salsa for the week. My second crop of beans never flowered but they got big. My second crop of big tomato (I don't' remember what kind) produced one tomato but my second crop of cherry tomato has all kinds of green ones on it and is still flowering. I am also growing what I thought was a brocoli but it is not growing a head. I tasted it and the leaves taste like? Well I can't figure it out but it is quite good raw sanding in the garden. But I only have one plant so it is just enough for me to eat as I walk around the yard. But it is sure good.
ETA: oh and the cilanto is still sprouting....

Good for you! I'm happy things are still growing for you.

I don't do veg much because the heat and bugs get to them.
Now after reading this I think I should start some of these and see how they get through the short winter we have here.

I have some spinach, beets & carrots that I've kinda forgotten about. That's the problem with the time change - it's getting dark by the time I'm getting home! Makes it hard to tromp around in the garden.
