First thing DD's bought after they moved in was a washer and dryer. They lived together during youngest DD's last year of law school and had had eNOUGH of a laundermat, although they got some nice t shirts from the laundermat that read:
"We have your missing sock!"

i forgot to mention that we also found a stray sock in our load of laundry that we dried. it looked enough like one of mine that i was going to bring it home just in case, but was overruled and we left it on the table...

there are worldwide tribes of lost socks sitting on laundromat tables. they migrate like any other tribes... cultural heroes? drug addiction? - aka to certain foot sprays? all may be well at the eastern front, but what about the western back? who is most wholey? do they joust (or do i jest :) )? pill removing or thread pulling contests?

i am so far behind where i wanted to be at this time.

i have a website that needs a lot of updates and basically i want to redo it entirely. i've been spending a lot of time investigating and trying things out and setting up a new test environment.

it takes a lot of time to wade through documents, set something up, get it working, decide you don't like it, keep trying other things, lather, rinse, repeat...

i spent some time today getting old stuff out of the closet and gathered from corners of the garage so they can be taken to the recycling drop off this coming Saturday. it gives me quite a bit of room back in my closet as one of the things in there is a CD carousel that holds 300 CDs. i wish i had the room and time to see if i could fix it but i don't - so off it goes...
