Another vote for Thistle pretty!! Twice I have had dogs that the breed's life span was short , live over 15 years. Every living creature has the same amount of time, today. No one knows if they will be here tomorrow. In the photo where your sitting on the floor she is looking at you with such love. I have a client with 2, she told me once weather turns cold she can't drag them inside.

That's hugely encouraging that you have had short termers live into their teens NYboy. If she is typical of the breed, I am deeply impressed. She has a remarkable temperament.

I love my dogs, and all of my past dogs are fondly remembered, but I haven't been this smitten since I brought home my Malamute, Cache, 20 years ago.
