My wife is making a HUGE pot of her grandmother's chilli recipe for the week. Also , a home made Krupnikas that the recipe goes back several hundred years from my family as well as baymule's grandmother's eggnog recipe to celebrate the NEW YEAR. HAPPY NEW YEAR ! ... CHEERS !!!

We celebrated NEW YEAR by lifting a few cups of egg nog and watching fireworks from all over our neighborhood. We just woke up at 9am to find brilliant blue sky and sunshine at 30* and with a visit from Jack Frost . HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

Glad you enjoyed the egg nog. We had some too! Mamma Wall would be proud to have other people enjoying her egg nog. Did you make it full strength or did you cut the whiskey in half?

Full strenth of course... my father could drink an 8 oz. glass of whiskey in short order and not be affected by it. I inherited that characteristic. My wife passed the future mother in law test by downing 3 servings of Krupnikas after dinner without slipping under the table. So , NO watered down version !
