Label everything, and if in doubt, label again.

This is what one of the Junin plants is making. Each of the plants has different looking seeds and pods.

2 Junin plants are bush, including this one, and one is a pole.

Witsa finally made a nice full sized pod.

It's an AFRICAN GREASY! That surprised me.

@journey11 You got some very very nice beans.
The Mt.Pima Burro & Caballito as well as the Annellino Giallo are lovely and Blooming Prairie is such a lovely color I could never eat it and it is productive :)

I'll send you the Buxton Buckshot, and to, was it bucka up in Maine? I'll miss those little beauties but they are just not liking my climate and conditions.

The Buxton Buckshot is an old variety having been grown around Buxton, Maine for a long time. The bean is probably used that cooler New England climate. They do grow very well here. I sent them to Marshall last year. I suspect this bean could have been one acquired by white folks from the indians long time ago. I got a hold of a bean this year from a Seneca man in Ohio called Seneca Bird Egg. To me Seneca Bird Egg seems as if it could be a bit larger strain of BB. Senca BE grows a little taller than the BB. Has pods that are slightly longer and larger but shaped an marked the same as BB. The seeds are also extremely round and marked also similar to BB. When I grew out BB in 2013 it climbed to about 4 feet. I think you could grow it on the ground like a half runner without any support.

@ journey11 Those colored Willow leaf are simply gorgeous! I just have the white kind. The teparies are neat, darker and so different from mine. Once you increase them, I'd love to trade!

Blooming Prairie looks an awful lot like Purple Rain (though from what I have heard from those that have tried it, Purple Rain is not so productive)
I still cannot find the information as I lost all my bookmarks but Robert Lobitz obtained seed from Germany I believe and Purple Rain, Blooming Prairie, Purple Diamond and Purple Rose were all closely related.
