Yikes. Life is not being too good to you of late, Red. Hope things are better today. Lyme disease is huge here this summer. It looks a lot like the flue with very bad leg and joint pain. Drs in your area may not be as aware of it as around here.
DH ate a good (BRAT) breakfast and looks a lot better this morning. Still pushing the fluids and still intend to see if I can get him in to his regular doctor. Urgent Care won't do anything for a prolonged event like this and emergency room isn't the right place for where we are this morning. Hospital would just keep him and, perhaps, his primary doctor wouldn't be in the loop at all.
No big problem with my part of last night. I can do anything once. A prolonged lack of sleep isn't going to work for me though.
It is about time for the Clinic to open so I need to start asking early and often for a write-in appointment.
Tomorrow we have a doctor's appt. at eleven o'clock. It's okay if that's the best we can do. DH is ready to go for a ride and visiting right now. I am tired but much relieved.
We went for a walk-about in the yard and sat in the shade of the Chestnut tree. I can tell he isn't well, but figured a bit of walking would be good exercise for him. The shady rest wasn't bad either.
As we sat there looking about the yard, he commented about how big everything has grown in the past years. I suppose a well-trained gardener would have replaced specimen plants that over-grew their 'adult' height.
There is lots of work to be done. Fortunately there is no hurry.
DH is asking about getting the mail, gas, and perhaps something to eat. I guess we are ready to hit the road.
