Moose tags are by lottery, and you get two max in your lifetime. One bull and one cow.

I enjoy them moving through. I'd rather have them than deer or elk. Much less damaging in my experience. Moose is good eating, but I'd rather watch them than eat them.

2 tags for lifetime. That isn't worth hunting them, like you, I'd rather watch than eat them. I raise lamb, pork and chicken. I'm just fine with that.

If its in Maine, they do a lottery, I believe. You have to be really lucky to get a ticket.
