Happy to say that both the Goromo & Ochiba Shigure are alive and eating! Survived their first winter home!

Since my husband is refusing to move, I'll be planning an expansion! It's currently about 13x13x4ft, which tapers in oddly.
So, hoping to go to 5ft deep all through the bottom.
Will probably get rid of the bog, as it's not helpful and a massive pain. That'll add about 4ft length. I can probably expand in the opposite direction by 3-4ft.
Don't believe that I can expand towards the gate/opposite of the wellhouse side, but, the wellhouse side could expand 4-5ft, but with a slanted side to avoid the propane tank.
Filters will be redone, upgraded and moved to the wellhouse side.
Making it a whopping 13,000 gallons. Its currently nearing 5,000 or so? I don't remember.
And then, I hope to finish it off with a real greenhouse type building over it. Not heated, just to protect it from predators and bad winters. Plus, I can enjoy it much longer.

Tossed the tropical plants out into pond last night. There were only 4, but the house is still full of house plants to kick out and cuttings I started last year. Bunch of willow sticks to pot and plant next year.

HD went a bit nuts, these guys will be here Tuesday!
Gotta clean filter, then setup a divider in my 125gal tank! Move the zillions of guppies over to small side & then the koi can go into larger area.
Gotta QT them in the house for at least 2 weeks! Make sure they're eating and look good. Don't want to kill my other koi babes!!
There was a fun tricolor I wanted, but DH chose these spontaneously, so I'll wait to get others...I did help pick the lemon & panda. Lol

Wanted one of these.
Maybe I should order one and play dumb?

I'm going to watch the first one to see if price will drop in a few days.
Last one would be nice, but too pricey.

Made the divider & test fit it!
Now slanted until Tuesday. It'll be at the 1/4th mark, roughly 42 gallons of space for the guppies.
