Another one!
I think I'll make them all slomo!
Should turn off the little pump & refill hose next time, so that they don't look rippled.

I thought that there were only 2 yellows, but slomo showed me that there are actually 3. They're butterflies, 2 yellow, one a little more orange. But I already have a large orange reg fin and a large yellowish butterfly...So, I'm thinking all three of those I should sell, once I'm moving them to a new pond.
Then the two red & black. One has moreso solid black patches, but a touch orange hue. The other's black is more in speckles than solid patches, but it's more red hued...That one will be hard to choose from, as the solid black is nicer, but I like red more.
I think that's all of the ones that I'll have to choose from.

The 3 butterflies + 2 adults-

Just saw, one of the 3 butterflies I was talking about earlier has gin rin, so would end up keeping that one. The sun was out & I saw it shine!

BEAUTIFUL Koi, how many do you have?

I think there are 27, since Zoro was killed. But then there's the butterfly platinum ogon in the house, so 28?
I won't know the official number until I'm moving them to a new pond.

Here's a previous post I did drawing them-
I need to carefully quadruple check that yellow one...not sure if I confused it with another or not....
Either way, there are all of my koi, shouldn't be any missing, just potentially one extra. 😅
Too many? Maybe. Some were homegrown that I had kept back to see how they grew.
Once the new pond is built, I'll take pictures of each & decide if I'll keep any of those babies or not.
I'll be making a final copy later. With butterfly fins represented & gin rin added to the ones that have it. Impossible to show sparkle with colored pencils. I'm thinking clear glitter nail polish...lol.
Seeing the first sheet, I realize that Mr Cheetos isn't colored properly. Fins are darker orange than body, as if he was covered in cheetos dust.
Color name & given name will also be on the final. There's a few w/o names, bought & bred ones.
On the backside, I'll note size & age, too.
They're not firmly in order, though, I did try to keep them together.
I don't have a solid white koi, just a very pale yellow-salmon one. I think that's what that neon yellow(center) in top row was supposed to represent...lol.
I have so many ochiba now, because of DH...lol.

Anyway, how do you like them so far? Recognize any?

2016 is roughly when this koi hatched. It's one of the 3 butterfly yellows I was talking about selling, this is the one I saw with gin rin the other day.
I decided to keep it and the other two will be sold, whenever I have the new pond built.

Gin Rin Yamabuki with darker yellow patches.

Also, I think this is the same koi, too. Once caught, if it doesn't look better up close, I'll sell it.

And here are the two Hi Utsuri koi I have to choose from. I think now I'm leaning towards the more solid marked one.

With those 4-5 koi sold, I'd go from 28 to 24 or 23 koi.

IDK if its grown longer, but definitely fatter!
It'll stay indoors until spring.
Needs a name, though. Black koi is Ghost, because you don't see her. So, what to name a white koi you'll always spot? 🤔
