The new buddy for the kujaku looks to be a dragonscale or armorscale koi, just means huge scales all over. Can't really tell color, as it seems to be clear and orange. Not quite white and orange.
I moved both into the big pond, they stayed too scared in the blue pool, even with lots of hornwort for shelter. They did eat, though. So, I decided to risk them jumping and moved them out with the big guys.
I want 20,000 gallons...If I'm going to upgrade, I'm going to go big!
20 wide, 30 long, 5 foot deep gets me 22,441.56 gallons. Over by 2,441 gallons, but I'm not going to nitpick the dimensions.
I looked at other sizes & they're too big for the area I have available. I have an apple tree & well pump on one end, quickly dropping hillside on another, huge stump in the way in one corner and 2 pine trees that I'll cut out on another side. 5ft off the fence.
