you can tell instantly how immersed that creature is in the environment, the ears and nose moving and twitching and the eyes rarely very still. i'd love to see some kitties like that around here.

i have a new small flashlight with a built-in red laser dot which would make such training a lot more fun. i've already annoyed Mom enough with it to know it will work just fine for even wilder creatures... probably also the best $3 i've spent in years...

You cannot train "fetching." It is a natural occurance amongst cats and owners and you cannot buy it either.
