The feral Olivia has been sheltering in the worst drafty place and sleeping in a battered old cardboard box. So I felt as he insisted on being there I've tried to add a little plastic and my old loo seat to another cardboard box and I'm praying he's going to use it. I'm going to try and get a little kennel in there soon. It's getting very cold here now

Wonder's of this world.

This feral cat Oliver, has given me the greatest of honour by accepting this box I worked on yesterday.
He's now sheltering out of the wind and very cold rain.

So too show him my deepest gratitude, I gave him supper in bed, for allowing me to feed him and for using my thrown together little cave, with a loo seat on top

How on earth he feels comfortable I really don't know, but he was snoring until I appeared

cardboard is an ok insulator so it will feel warmer than say a wooden or metal box.

He already is, rats to. He's been seen in poring rain hunting. But it looks as if he and amori have covered most of the ground because he was famished yesterday.

I bought them some frozen stir fry beef and mixed it in with their feed and biscuits yesterday because the temperature dropped yesterday
They also have a very good mineral and vitamins powder which has come all the way from Canada, from a vet I follow. I also add egg veg and fruit such as banana into their meals, depending what's on hand.

cardboard is an ok insulator so it will feel warmer than say a wooden or metal box.

I want to tidy it up a little but the more clutter the less cold gets in. I really need to find a way to wall off the side of this contraption but allowing him entry
