:weee YAY!!! :weee

I am so glad you got tomatoes! Mine are blighted from all the rain and steamy heat, as is the yard and everything else in it. :tongue by the time ya'll are in full swing mine will all be dead.
If I could take the heat, I would much rather be down there growing cabbage and broccoli in the winter! Maybe some day I will join the minnesota snowbirds.

I have tomatoes finally! :weeeThe big ones still seem to be taking forever. I can't wait for that first tomato sandwich with a slice of tomato bigger than the bread. But these will certainly do for now.

Stupice, OP. Thought it would be earlier than this. Flavor is really good and deep for a small early tomato. I'd say they are maybe 4-6oz. size. I forgot to weigh them, DH and I ate them all right away. :D

Golden Egg, OP. About 1 oz or so. Like a bite of sunshine! They are sweet and faintly lemony. These have been our favorite tiny tomato for several years now.

Lovely.

Is that a flavor. Well then, pleasant.

Kimberley is a lovely plant and I should do better showing what a cute fruit it has. Last fall, I had those ridiculous tiny Kimberley fruits to show you from my hybridizing experience. (I'm tempted to just let that go this year .) They are not cherries unless you grow them in a too small pot.

A couple I'm growing this year. The yellow is a Hillbilly, the first of the year of those. I have not cut it open yet but plan to tomorrow. The other ones are Chocolate Stripes. That red actually looks more orange in person. Those are fully ripe. I had one today and it was very good. The flesh inside was red and it was sweet.

The glue is there for scale. I did not weigh them but they are fairly large.
