Being miniatures, they are probably done. Commercial cow/calf operation is 10 years old. 12-13 for great brood cows.

They are looking for someone who wants pasture monuments.

And by the way @baymule , it's really not such a stretch from parakeet to pairakows.

Folks in these parts still breed their old cows clear up into the later teens, though I wouldn't recommend it...it's hard on an antique cow to be bred and calve.
