Upset About Truck

I was told restoring truck would take about 2 months. Truck was picked up weekend of July 4. With them having it for a month, I sent a email yesterday for progress report. Email I just got was didn't start, had a lot going on, will start sometime this week. Here I was assuming truck halfway done and not even inside shop yet.

Did their original two month estimate include not starting for a while? Are they still on track for the promised delivery?

Get used to this.
Once some of these places get your vehicle they don't get in any hurry to get a lot done.

Here's hoping the time line still applies. They could have ordered needed parts so everything is ready when they do get it into the shop. Sometimes the waiting for parts and supplies is time-consuming without results you can see. Here's hoping!

Friend of sister and her husband. I joked it would turn into 4 months, get truck just in time to take off road for winter. I wouldn't be upset if they had sent me a email delayed in starting. past weekend my sister asked if I heard from them, I said no at least I know there wasn't any bad suprizes by now they would have found them.

They would have found them IF they would have looked. Sounds like it is one of those projects they will do when nothing else is there. So if you are getting a huge discount, then such is life.
