You got a two month quote. Around here the "quote" is two weeks. For years, when asked by a tenant how long it would take DH to build, repair, or replace something for one of our vacant properties the response was, "two weeks."
Three years later that same tenant asked how long it would take to finish the work. "Two weeks", was DH's reply. A couple of months later, that tenant brought a friend to see the vacant property. The friend asked how soon the repairs would be finished because he wanted to move in. The tenant beat DH to his response of "two weeks", just as DH and I broke out laughing knowing DH was prepared to say "two weeks."
The friend/new tenant moved in 10 days later. Twelve years later they are still renting the apartment.
