Oh, you are right, Red. I'll keep an eye on her back side. She gets a fecal check every 6 months or so, anyway.

I thought about another picture of Benjamin Bunny in the garden, yesterday. Should've spit at him!

I was walking not more than 10' away. He just watched me. Really tame every year at this time. Benjamin has grown comfortable seeing me there.

Hit with a rock, I've watched rabbits just jump and go back to watching. It's like they don't comprehend that it would be best for them to leave! Missed too many times with rocks and tear up garden plants every time I do ...

I think they have earned the name "dumb bunny"

You can wormer her yourself much cheaper all you need is dogs weight. I would use a 4 in1 to cover all types. Now adays chain pet stores and farming stores carry them. All are given by weight.

Yeah, I know, Nyboy. But the daycare she goes to requires a vet check on a regular schedule. I think it is 6 months. They just send her home with a note telling me she is due for a check.

Why would one have to have a simple normal worming done by a Vet? :hu A Vet check every 6 months is a gross overkill for any dog. :barnie Most people don't even take their own kids to a Doctor every 6 months. :thBut for a dog... no way, no how, total overabuse of power of their way of doing business. Get real doggy day care. I would go broke in no time as doggy day cares are too expensive to start with. I would buy the wormer and worm the dog myself and show the receipt for it. If they don't accept it... well bye bye. :frow

I buy vaccines I pay $1.75 syringes few pennies. The bottle of vaccine has a peel off label. I do all my friends and families dogs, I peel off label and put it on business card with date. I tell friends to bring card to their vet so records can be updated. A friend said what if my vet will not accept it, I said find a new vet.

I know I could save money by not taking her to the vet, or to daycare. But she needs to be around other dogs and she needs her previous anal gland issues monitored.
@bobm, if my chief purpose was to save money, I wouldn't have brought Penny home from the shelter in the first place.
