I was flabbergasted when I first saw them at a nursery. People pay money for these evil things?

I am not just biased toward yuccas though, I'm an equal opportunity sticker hater.
Probably came from my childhood. Mom had a "desert" garden with cacti. I fell on the jumping cactus when I was 4 and dad had to use pliers to get all the jumpers off me. It was horrifying, haha.

Both of my sons have had run ins with cacti! Oldest SAT on one when he was about 2. Poor little hiney Then the younger one went to step over a jumping cactus (a.k.a. choya) branch on a hike in AZ when he was bout 7. And jump it did. Stuck to his leg. Two sweet little old ladies where already tending to him before we caught up!
