I once saw a woman in Atlanta wearing a dirty wedding gown. It was very sad. She was walking with great determination, but clearly there was crazy in her eyes.

I didn't hear a flower in the description. Although with a wedding gown there should have been a bouquet.

Unfortunately (or fortunately according to your view) closing the doors on so many mentally ill people in institutions meant there was no overseeing the taking of meds. So many of these people just got lost in the cracks. Of course, the increase in drug use results in even more homeless.

Somehow, it seems to me that revamping how mental institutions cared for these people would have been a less expensive solution then we have now.

As I was writing I was trying to remember that song. Thanks! My visual memory sees a bouquet, but, my mind may have made that up. It was an extraordinary sight.

I knew that song reference, Nyboy, that's why I mentioned the flower. "What's that flower you have on?"

LOL Red your mind is stuck on flowers, song has more to it. Cat saw a crazy woman in wedding gown running around town. Delta dawn goes crazy when stood up by her man and runs around town looking for him. Both woman go crazy and look for the man who left them at alter.

Personally, if a woman did that to me, I'd send her a thank you card every year. Disaster averted......
