woman see marriage differently
Huh? Really?Don't know about that ...
Something I was reading about lately, altho' I just skimmed the surface.
Long-term depression in men, rejected by women. Sometimes it is a difficult cause in diagnosis and I think that there is resistance by men to admit that it can be so serious. But, think about it. Not too many women go b-sh' loonie as did Delta and her sisters. Men, way too often, are homicidal/suicidal.
Turning as quickly as possible from that - women are probably more in touch with emotions and, generally, better able to heal. They may go on to a happy life with another companion. Men, American men, have something to learn.

I agree, seedcorn. Being married to the Cad would have been far worse a fate then being left at the altar. She may not have realized it, but in my humble opinion she got off lucky.Personally, if a woman did that to me, I'd send her a thank you card every year. Disaster averted......
As it should be.What was funny none of the guys at the party brought wives or girlfriends. Most of the talk all night was about woman and sex.A lot of bragging, but when a wife called there was almost panic, a few guys had to ask permission to stay out later. Despite their talk of being king of the castle, they where ruled by the Queen.
