5 inches of snow followed by freezing rain, about33 degrees out now dropping to teens later today! Better get the heavy stuff moved BEFORE it is all ice.

that's what we did today. Mom did part of the driveway and i went out while it was raining to finish it up before it gets cold again.

it was very heavy too! as i was doing it i was thinking how much fun it would be to make a small snowman and bring it in to give to Mom. when i got in after forgetting to do that i told her i thought of it, she replied that she wanted to make a Snow Angel but was afraid she'd not be able to get up. i told her she could take my ground pillows out with her and use them to crawl to the stairs. where there is a will there is a way...
i don't think she really liked that suggestion...

It started out about 55 today, but when the sun came out, the west wind whipped up and the temps dropped. It was sunny but with brutal cold wind. Blew the chickens away.
