Iowa can get so nasty HOT AND HUMID not unusual to see upper 90's in August. Nights staying in the upper70's maybe even 80 not good for sleeping. I think Mary's weather sounds heavenly.

REALLY HOT? :th

I really like you and want to advise you to never visit Texas in the summer. I would hate for you to melt. :lol:

I've already told you this Bay, but I'll remind you again :p...I have been to Texas. In July. :eek: Why a normally rational person decided July was a great month for a Texas wedding is beyond me. Of course the fact that she was living in Texas sorta cancels the rational bit. I believe my body got to work making more sweat glands for the occasion because I sweat like I never knew I could.
We can't help where we were born, so I love you anyway Bay. :hugs :lol:

Family went to Louisiana in August. Talk about dumb. Locals just asked WHY? Luckily one of the coldest summers they had so very nice weather.

Upper 90's...... :lol::lol::lol::lol: ........:gig:gig:gig:gig

@thistlebloom that shows true friendship that you would come to Texas during July. Personally I think a July or August wedding is nutzo! :lol: I hope the wedding was held indoors. I have known idiots to have outdoor weddings in the heat of summer....probably a sign of pending divorce...
@seedcorn plan your vacations better next time! Louisiana is a beautiful state, go in the spring.

I will tactfully refrain from mentioning your dreadful winters and let it remain your dirty little secret.......:gig:gig:gig:gig

Have to have winter to enjoy sledding, skiing, making snow men with kids, etc..... Plus it neutralizes bugs giving us a fighting chance against them....
