i picked a whole box of Beaver Dam peppers and will keep some of them for myself and give the rest away to my nephew when he visits tomorrow. it's the 3rd picking and a good crop for sure. much more than i ever could get from Jalapenos i tried to grow four different times and i don't recall them doing that great three of those four times.

there's also some green and red peppers out there but i've eaten so many of those recently i only picked one to give to my nephew. he'll be happy. :)

Green beans fresh cooked with bacon and onions. Then fried in olive oil , added garlic, Italian bread crumbs, lemon juice, shaved almonds, hot fresh ground pepper corns, and melted pepper Jack cheese.
Sure didn’t taste like beans. 👍 lots of flavor. Just messin around with spices.
Thought to share with all the beany groups… 😉

Quesadilla filled with homegrown roasted Poblano peppers. On the side are Arikara beans and Marmalade Orange tomato. I really should have garnished this with fresh cilantro, but it was dark and rainy by then and it seemed like way too much effort to go outdoors.

I'm down to about a dozen tomatoes that I've been eating in salads and slicing to add to ham and cheese sandwiches. There may yet be a few tomatoes still ripening on the vine. But the bulk of my harvest is in freezer bags, waiting to be made into sauce later.
