Finally,

our traditional Chives & Scrambled Eggs.

The bok choy and other Asian greens look like they have survived transplanting into the hoop house. They have had a few cool days for adjusting, with just a few hours of sunshine yesterday. The forecast looks a little bouncy and they don't really need that but stir-fries may be in the near future.

Nothing complicated about chives and eggs. I didn't even sprinkle them with Tabasco sauce or ask DW if she would make her salsa sauce. Except for the frozen cherry tomatoes, the salsa would be from nearly all store-bought ingredients. She has included button mushrooms with the cilantro, green onions, shallots and pepper flakes for the first time recently. Chives and eggs, it's a start.

Mustard Greens — from the hoop house.

The melons are from … well, I’ll let you guess ;).

After a lunch, which can include the greens, there will be more of that strawberry rhubarb cobbler. Rhubarb is from outside the east end of the greenhouse. Strawberries? Probably the same place as those melons :).

Other than cobbler, what other recipes do you use rhubarb in? My mom used to make a rhubarb pie and also jam.

I'm trying to remember if I have tried jam, @Dahlia ... i don't think so.

Rhubarb upside down cake with boxed mix is even simpler than the cobbler.

Rhubarb pie, with or without strawberries & usually without, and we make it the way Mom made those pies, with tapioca.

I made 3 different kinds of rhubarb barbecue sauce a few years ago and like all of them. The one I liked best was the one made with Dr Pepper. It was similar to this but I didn't use the liquid smoke and I can no longer find the recipe that I used online. LINK

Steve, who can do a little more research on those bbq sauce recipes.
