Those "baby veggies" go for really high prices in restaruants.
Rebbetzin, me and the BF actually just gave them a quick rinse under the tap and then ate them fresh. Unbelievable, the flavor they had.

It makes thinning much less painless, knowing that I can wait and actually harvest some teeny veggies, instead of just pinching them off. :)

Today I planted most of my seeds (4 wks ago I did some yarrow, lobelia, lettuce and just four early tomatoes to go into wall-o-waters):

salpiglossis (mixed)
red gomphrena
euphorbia 'summer icicle'

tomatoes: Early Girl, Black Russian and Super Marmande
more lettuce

so, with seedlings under the lights in the basement now and crocus starting to bloom, my spring has now officially begun! woo hoo :)

Pat, expecting an inch plus of rain tonight bringing more flooding, followed by temps hovering around freezing for several days, but trying not to dwell on it :p

I am so jealous of those of you have been able to plant already. Storms here every few days and there is no where for the water to go. Maybe I should look into rice paddies?? :/

Ozark, we had rain all last week here in central NC. We needed it desperately, we'd been in catastrophic drought conditions for almost a year.

Ah, don't even talk to me about 'wet' or 'underwater' :p... everything *I've* planted has been indoors, sitting on the tops of the kitchen wall cabinets to germinate and then moved down to the basement under lights. I'm still probably almost a month away from sowing anything outdoors!
