I can't wait to try this recipe @Beekissed.

If you like a spread with mid level hotness, this is going to be something you love. We've been canning it since the 70s and have never grown tired of it yet. You can even can a more mild version by substituting some of the hot banana peppers with sweet banana peppers for folks who aren't as attuned to even mid level hot.

It also has a tangy sweetness on the front end that's a pleasure on the tongue...I imagine it would go VERY well with Chinese cooking, for baking a ham, even coating a steak. I've used it in grilling marinades for an added flavor profile and got raves from the crowd over it. One of my favorite things to do is incorporate it into dips.

Cleaned out the spare coop, took three cartloads of composted and some not composted material(leaves, hay, straw) to place on thin spots in the chip in the garden. These are areas that will get the first loads of chips when we get them hauled and placed, but until then it will get that soil softened up and keep weeds from growing there, while also adding nutrients.

Mom also hauled three barrows of pine needles and composted leaf matter to the BTE for the same reason. With those efforts we put a nice layer on about a third of the garden.

Green tea with sugar? Sorry, I just had to say that Lol.

Mary

I am as compliant as I can be with all this healthy eating stuff. I am from Oklahoma and TEA is black, it is SWEET and it has ICE. That’s it, but going along with healthy, I do try to drink different tea, but no sugar, is just asking TOO much. :gig

Worst year yet we've seen for pollen here...we keep sweeping it off the porches and it collects on our bare feet in a layer of pollen dust when we walk on the porches.

Well you can thank north Idaho for that. We've been shoveling it into the jet stream to get rid of it!

I got home from a long day, took a shower and came into the living room for a break before I go back out to do chores. Plopped down on the couch and a cloud of pollen rose around me.True story!

My house is going to need a ceiling to floor cleaning when all these trees are done. :\ Who's got that kind of time?
