We used weed block under the tires I planted in... none of my seeds came up but realized I had tried too early
I do not use heat in the greenhouse yet so that went against us also

The Olmeca Tomato seeds I planted~well I was worried that: Because they were so small, compared to regular tomato seeds, that maybe I planted them too deep~Well just now in the green house, I see that two are in the throws of sprouting, I moved them from under the shade cloth to a sunny location, still inside the Greenhouse.
I almost smiled.

Can you see how much thinner, more delicate these Olmeca tomato sprouts are that regular tomatoes? Or does it not show in the picture~

Wow, Bee really frost!

I transplanted my tomatoes and peppers in a larger (really large) pot to wait until I have the fence up in the garden. They've were seeded about a month ago but they are looking pretty nice. I thought they were insect riddled until I got close enough to see it was just potting soil splashed up on them.

DH read about how beets are good for you so now he insist I need to grow them. Him and the Wildbunch complains every time I have ever cooked them but now he thinks he will eat them, lol. If he doesn't I will. I love beets, pickles beets, and beet greens.
