Stony that looks great!

Am I seeing a nice large wagon behind a lawn tractor? ...where are my reading glasses?

Petey, your old garden is beautiful!!! Just imagine what you'll accomplish in the new place with all you've learned from the old one!

Stony, that is a BIG garden. What are you planting this year?

There is a huge list of seeds and seedlings that we're planting.

several varieties of:
- tomatoes
- cucumbers
- squash
- radishes
- beans
- peppers
- spinach
- lettuce

Single variety of:
- okra
- zuccini
- pumpkin
- onion
- carrot
- watermelon
- cantalope
- cauiflower
- broccali
- brussel sprouts

I think that's everything

Finally got my ruby Swiss chard in. I find it comes up better in the early Spring before the ground gets really warm. Pulled some weeds around my okra seedlings and spread rabbit poop. I got careless and let too much urine build up in it. As soon as I stuck the first shovel into the bin the amonia almost knocked me down. I'll bet I looked weird wearing a breather to spread poop but that amonia was really fierce. A good watering after I spread it washed the amonia into the ground where it could do some good.

I'm not feeling so hot today, but I may get some Bean seeds in the ground and some others into a flat. Have to cut a strip of plastic 25 foot long for the back east bed.

I plan on 2 loads of compost too, to get at least the lowest parts of the last bed up and fluffy.

So far this morning I dinked around picking rocks and cleaning up some, in my slip on shoes and sweat pants and long sleeve shirt.

This weekend I....

Weeded and dug the last two beds (and the other 5 that weren't so bad),
Bagged and hauled out the pile of debris from the middle of the garden (lawn),
Got 10 bags/20CF of chopped pine straw mulch delivered ,
Mulched beds,
Knocked neighbors' weeds off fence (grrrrr),
Pruned the Elderberry Tree (weed),
Dug little holes in the mulch and planted seeds for:
Sugar Baby Watermelon,
Noir des Carmes melons,
Bell Peppers: King of the North and Frank's,
Hot Peppers: Peter and Tam Jalapeno,
Squash: Butternut, Spaghetti, Golden Zucch, and ... I forget.
Borage,
Basil,
Clemson Spineless Okra (for pickles),
Cucumbers: Marketmore and White Wonder,
Sunburned my lower back,
But did not haul the trash bags to the curb.

I potted up my tomato plants, planted bizzy lizzies, pricked out my cosmos that were getting tall, planted some flowers in my wild garden and planted lettuce and cabbage plants.

Did not get everything done I wanted to do. Working with that plastic in the wind took longer than expected, but I got it. Got some of the compost in that bed. Got some of the things together for planting in another flat. That should be tomorrow.
