What To Do When You're Snowed In

Wow, Major...if you are getting an ice storm, I wonder what I'll be getting? (off to check the forecast...)

I've noticed that too, Bay. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten stranded out at my dad's farm...(dead battery, went over in a ditch, lost my keys)...and had to climb up the hill and managed to get an SOS text message out.

journey in 14 years here we have had 6 bad storms where the power has been knocked out for 3 days, being all electric we have learned to prepare for the worst....

WOW we got about 1.5 inches of snow last night a little sleet before the snow started, but no real measurable snow. This next storm is supposed to turn to rain for us. Then turn cold for the rest of the week.... in the 20's during the day, and teens possible single didgets for a few nights.

It's 8 inches here. I underestimated.

On the other hand, some of my campers made it up here in their 4 wheel drives to play in the snow. So now I know there are tracks in the snow on the road in and out. Not snowed in after all...
