Yesterday I went to the grocery store, there was a very small truck short bed, with piles of stuff in it like they were moving and to my surprised there was three goats in it ! I wish I had my camera !!
My Dodge Caravan hauls EVERYTHING. It is rarely free of *soil*, hay/straw, leaves, tools, dog's stuff and grandkids seats, etc... If I can get it in, it goes. (So far no livestock.)
When i was 11 my mom went to an auction surprised all of us by buying me a pony. With no way to get her home.
She met a friendly guy who offered to deliver the pony mare for her.....in his VW van! She was quite the spectacle traveling down the road with her head hanging out the window. ( I'm talking about the pony here, not my mom )
That nice guy and his family became fast friends of our family and we spent a lot of good times with them.
I heard that Rolls Royce once asked owners to name the features they liked best about the limo. Someone from Australia said the best thing was the sliding glass panel between the front and back seats,"It keeps the sheep from licking my neck when I'm driving".
I call the dirt in my car- clean dirt. You know the kind that comes from plants! I have seriously considered transporting a pig in my car- but I haven't done it yet!
I can't comment on your dirt situation. My avatar on backyardherds is us bringing home our day old Jersey bulls (2) in the back of our Jeep Wrangler. Oh yeah! Can you say hillbilly?!!
That's funny Stubborn! We brought our goats home in our Wrangler. And we still take them over to the State Park for hikes in it. Wait till my husband finds out he's a hillbilly!
