Thank You, @so lucky !

This isn't my birthday but I'm a year older than I was last year at this time :)!

I have a little bit of a difficult time throwing away cards that I have been given. They are in several places in my home. Mostly in drawers but several were so decorative that they are in the open. These were cute but another special day for a family member is coming up so these will be shuffled out of the way, soon!

Oh, I arrived with spring, @Nyboy .

I'm in places every week where identification is required: birth date.

Here is the Weather Service on the expected storm and current situation in the US:

I'd appreciate it if they didn't use all capitals (but it might be warranted in this situation).

i think they're just into drama these days. you know you are getting older when you think of how it used to be when people didn't make such a fuss about a few inches of snow or storms, but with the more information and always turned on connections to "the bigger world out there[tm]" they have to make drama to keep people's attention.

I drove school bus for several years ~ I was a mechanic at the bus garage ~ the drivers got summers off ~ their hands were ~ tea cup clean ~ all they had to know was their route ~ so

Yep, I can see you behind the wheel ~ of a bus ```
O.K. I will try not to be offended. :idunnoIF you drove a route you'll know that all we do is not JUST DRIVE! After all we are the only adult in a box with wheels and up to 66 sometimes rowdy littles. We clean up vomit, referee, wash bus inside and out. Do pre-trip and post trip bus inspections. (Dang oily dip stick!)- and Fuel (Diesel stinks) so much for clean hands.:tongue I also work summers. Sports trips and daycare trips. So....

AGREE 100%!!!
I have great admiration for anyone who's job requires them to be around children all day. My sister was in daycare for years and is now a nanny. Just as bus drivers do not JUST drive a bus, day care is not JUST baby sitting. The things those kids learned amazed me (still does!).
