SandraMort]I looooove the gutters!!! How do you attach them? I've got a set of shelves that attach to bars without a back. I was trying to think of how to use those for multi level salad greens and gutters could be the perfect answer. How do you attach them? How do they drain? Sandra

DH sunk 4X4 posts into the flower beds. Then nailed them to one side for stability. The gutters are screwed to the posts. I *think* he used the gutter hangers. The end caps where placed on, but not sealed with any thing. He was going to punch a few drain holes.
(I do not think he ever did.) They do not hold a deep amount of dirt so in the sun and wind we need to water them at least every other day. So far we have not harvested any greens from them. The plants are much smaller than the ones planted in the ground. Probable cause, he filled them with dirt from the feild bank and did not add any compost of other enrichments.
Still they look good, are out of reach of the rabbits and saving space for other stuff! I will try to get pics posted later this week on how things are growing.

They are all labeled for what kind they are, which is why they are lying there all funny. Peppers and eggplant after that. Several rows of bush beans on either side of that dang concrete pad (and weeds), and a short row of potatoes all the way at the end. The smaller garden in the background is my sweet corn patch, planted half for now and another planting goes in this Saturday. Corn is only about 5" tall right now.
