This year I have controlled myself better, but I did buy more strawberry plants. I used a lot of old seed, but had to have new. I have 112 pepper plants that I started from seed and I am walking the whole yard looking for places to plant them and actually came home from the Farmers Market with 2 more. They are YELLOW and I did not have any. I am trying to make myself not drive to a plant sale. I had to plant yellow, red, white, rainbow and I have no idea what else of Swiss chard. I have sweet, cinnamon, Dark Opal, and a couple more kinds of basil and I think 60 plants. I just started sprinkling seed instead of 1 to a cup and then realized after they came up what I had done. Oh, at the Farmers Market I bought Sun Gold, Sunsugar and Gold Nugget cherry tomatoes. I was not sure which one I liked the best. They can go with all the red ones I started from seed. Oh, and my whole yard is full of raspberries, but I just had to have some Fall Gold, and finally found a way to SQUEEZE them in on a fence by my box of lettuce and spinach. I need help! :th

I was on zulily last week and while scrolling through the lists of kids clothes and over-priced flip flops I saw plants.
PERK! 8-D
I was JUST going to look.......
Then I saw the white hosta. 'click' into the basket that went
On my way to the 'checkout' I saw a mock orange.... 'click'
I didn't even bother to look up any info on how big, how much sun/water, etc until I got the email this morning letting me know it was shipping.

Well, I guess there are certainly worse addictions to have! I have been so darn busy, I have only made it to one greenhouse. Not one impulsive buy was made. If you want to be very, very good-take my Dh with you. He takes the fun right out of shopping!

Almost all guys have stories like this: I came into a mall one day. In the open hallway ahead of me, I seem to recognize someone carrying bags. I don't really know this person, his wife's brother was a friend. Then I see his wife and know that I recognize this couple.

She is buzzing in and out of the shops - she hit 3 while I'm following them down this long hallway. He is trudging down the center, never moving left or right. She is keeping pace with him. And, she is staying ahead!!

She reached a large, fourth store and disappeared inside. Six paces behind, bags in both arms, he dutifully followed her inside. Retail Therapy.

Lesa, my husband is just like yours, maybe they're twins? He doesn't even like shopping at "manly" stores for tools or sporting goods.
He went with me to the farmers market,... exactly once.

Nope, the impulse buying is all me!

Just ONE unexpected purchase (so far) and I totally blame @Nyboy and the hosta thread. I HAD to poke around and check out the new hostas, but I did good there.

Then, out of the blue, opens a site with clematis, ... I really needed two for an habor I refurbished last year, BUT, then there was this really cool hardy hib 'Blue River II' and a REAL pretty shrub, which I'm considering my oops buy because at the moment I can't even remember what the name of it was. :hide ... or have any clue where I'm going to put it. Shame on you Nyboy. :D

Lesa, I must be married to his brother!
