@baymule, I really love that mud dress, she may have a future in fashion. Also her skin is probably perfectly exfoliated, people pay big bucks to get covered in mud.

    Price increases and shortages

We have been building up a seed bank , and stocking up on some other essentials. We have cleaned out our freezers in the garage and are starting to stock up on beef and chicken. We still have plenty of pork from the hog we purchased, so concentrating on mostly beef , and some chicken also. I...

    Scammers

Both DW and I have been getting the usps scam texts lately. These dopes are so lame they send texts saying order number what ever is having issues and get ahold of them at some non phone number they give to work it out. I only have to check my online orders to figure out the numbers they give...

@ninnymary, this cart is exactly 4’ wide to the outside edge. That is why the lights have to be in between the legs of the cart and not spread out enough to cover the entire flat. So we end up having to move each flat every day to keep the seedlings growing straight under the lights. Also the...

@Gardening with Rabbits This is the cart we have now it came from Costco and sold as a wardrobe cart. It has castors and a shelf on top where we stack flats and cell packs and whatever else we use. It is not perfect but it is way better than the homemade one that we used to use. It came with...

We do have a meat grinder, sausage stuffer, and a meat slicer. I also have a brother who has a full meat shop in his garage and all the cut and wrap supplies. We have all the supplies to build a grow out pen here at our house just need a couple weekends free to build it. After this broken ankle...

We have 6 of the 4’ led. 4 of them are full spectrum light , and 2 are clear grow lights. We do not see any difference between the two as far as plant growth. The seed starting cart has T-8 lights that work just fine for seed starting , so no change there.

@digitS' , I resemble that cartoon. I do not feel like my coordination is lacking at all but it seems like I have had more than my share of injuries in the recent past. Maybe I just get discombobulated once in awhile lol:he PS I would not fare to good working at Bobs.

If anybody needs lumber for projects better get it now, the prices have gone up a lot but I think that they are going to get way higher. We have also been buying the heirloom seeds and building an emergency seed bank that will get stored away for the future. Some of the local slaughter houses...
