Anyone Know About Refrigerators ?

My parents had to replace a 5 year old one. My sister has a sub zero sitting in her basement from kitchen remodel, but it is stainless steel. Oven dishwasher microwave all white if fridge did not match would drive me crazy.

REALLY? !? !? (I have a degree in interior design and am so relaxed about those things here , all I care is if they are all WORKING!)

My main fridge is nearly 25 years old, and the spare one in the basement is probably 35 years old. Both working just fine. (knock wood) The youngest one has had a few repairs, but much cheaper than buying a new one.

You would get a little crazy here then, haha. Fridge is white and 16 years old - all the appliances came with the house - stove is black because the original white one died and I found the gas one at the ding and dent place. Stove hood is white, thinking about painting it black though...someday... and the dishwasher I don't use is white, but I'm working on dh to pull it out and make a cabinet in the hole. Another someday project...

Hey, but they work and you don't fix what ain't broke, right?

Repair will be $1,200 I believe I paid $1,100 for fridge new. So fridge shopping in future this weekend. BIG problem since buying old fridge I replaced both front and kitchen doors, old fridge will not fit through them
