I'll never have a side by side again. I LOVE my bottom freezers. Its so easy to get to the rest of the food! You're 6 ft tall? Wow, that is tall! (says someone who has shrunk 0.5" in her 62 years)

We have a new fridge with bottom freezer I like it. You use the fridge the most so not constantly having to bend over to get things out of fridge all thing are above knee height already. It has an ice maker inside no door space wasted on inside. Also the door shelves are huge plus side by side doors so twice as many. It is whirlpool brand we purchased from lowes about a year ago, would not go back to standard fridge at this point.

We've: a side by side and one with a top freezer here, and at the mountain spread we've a full size fridge and a full size upright freezer.
