Nyboy You could even make it.

Impossible Buttermilk Pie

6 tablespoons butter, melted (the sticks of butter have marks on the wrapper paper)
1 cup Bisquick
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
3 eggs

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.Melt butter in microwave safe bowl for 30 seconds. Add the rest of the ingredients, beat until smooth. You can use a mixer, sometimes I just use a spoon, it will still be a little lumpy, but it's ok. Pour into a greased pie plate. CAREFULLY place in the oven so you don't spill it. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes. I bake it for 45 minutes so the top is browned. It will puff up, but when you take it out, it will flatten out. @Nyboy if smoke billows forth from the oven, you have left it in there too long, you might want to bake yours for 30 minutes. ;)

This is so easy, no pie crust to worry with, just dump all the ingredients in one bowl, mix, then pour in greased pie plate.

We foraged for elderberries and I cooked them and strained them. This morning I made syrup with honey. I got 27 pints and 4 half pints. Elderberry syrup is good for colds and flu. Our oldest granddaughter is allergic to antibiotics, so I am getting into herbals.

My mother was allergic to penicillin . Checking into a hospital she always made sure it was in her paper work. 3x while in hospital she was given penicillin and had bad reactions. You might want to get her a medical bracket saying she is allergic to antibiotics. They make really nice ones now.

I just finished canning 8 pints of spicy sweet pickles. Cleaned kitchen, put away big pots and utensils. House smells like a pickle jar now. Sitting in recliner, feet up..... but not for long.
Sound good. Recipe?
