Haha! Our horse is an 18 year old "sorrel/chestnut" mare. She rolls around and it just blends in except for her mane. It's flax colored and looks reddish blonde.Red dirt is all around us. There is a pocket of maybe 1,000 acres or less of what is known around here as sugar sand. We have 8 acres of it. I really didn't want red dirt, we have a pure white, blue eyed Quarter Horse, Joe, who is 29 years old. White horses that roll in red dirt are orange!

That sounds like a nice haul.I was in the garden at 6:30 this morning. I watered the corn, cucumbers and zucchini. Then I picked purple hull peas. I got 2 wash pans full. We shelled peas and got 9 pounds of shelled peas. I put 8 bags of 2 cups each in the freezer, plus some for tonight.
