I hear nothing -- nothing from the neighbors, nothing from the sheriff, nothing from the County. Starting to worry about what I should do with the piles of (mostly) junk in the front yard.

I fear tall, grass and weeds between piles of junk with dying grasses beneath it. Do I remove the stuff or wait longer for the neighbors to put a claim on it?

Take plenty of photos of junk with todays newspaper as proof of date then move. I would claim you where worried about your grand kids getting hurt playing around it.

That would be trespassing. I'm trying to be sure of my legal standing in this mess. According to the deputy, I could be cleaning on their property and he could do nothing. Son wants to take down a tree, but I think it is theirs. I don't want to go on their land or do anything to their property. I just want this whole bloody mess settled once and for all.

They are still using my property near their side yard. Knowing the deputies couldn't do anything about that either, I wait for the survey.

If I was justified in taking the items abandoned in my part of the shed, then tossing them into the neighbor's yard would be illegal activity. I was.

If I now believe the junk is theirs, I broke the law taking it in the first place. I didn't.

Nope. It will go to the dump or freecycle. Just waiting for some sign of a pending lawsuit before it goes.

I just used to put stuff out at the curb and it would be gone. When I was re-doing the interior of this house, I took trash back to Livingston. I cut the carpet out of this house in 3' strips and took back to Livingston (trash service) and in 25 minutes it was gone.
