Good Morning all!
Coffee is READY and it's HOT!!!! Actually going to go get my 2nd cup right now
What am I doing up so early on Sunday morning you ask? My answer for that is ask my pup who is currently back to sleep.
@Marie2020 Yesterday morning at 8:45AM I was eating a bowl of Mac Salad and nope there is NO "patter of tiny feet" in my future at all- a very necessary medical procedure in the past (many many years ago 2003 to be exact) made sure I wasn't able to have anymore.
@Phaedra the bottles with the wooden caps where did you find them?

I've got more into salad lately. I'm thinking of jarring up some beetroot later. I use apple cider vinegar and add cayenne pepper and garlic. It's a nice quick snack when needed

we've been using sliced apples for quick snacks here, and when i want a little bit more substance to them i can put peanut butter on them.

this morning was the first time i'd made oatmeal in quite a while so i messed it up and the cup ran over in the microwave. i was momentarily distracted eating a few apple slices and spoonful of peanut butter (a snack while the oatmeal was cooking) and because i started the bowl of oatmeal with hot water the oats boiled over. once i cleaned it up it was all back on track. Mom got a nicely cleaned out microwave oven for her morning coffee... :)

Good Morning.

Lucky this morning. We are puppysitting Garbanzo the Dog while DD takes a short vacation to Arizona. She often starts off her visits in a petulant mood. I cannot hear her from the bedroom if she complains from her kennel unless I'm in the bathroom.

Once I am aware that she is awake and has all of her early morning wants, I feel compelled to stay up so that she doesn't wake DW. This compulsion may be familiar to @Country Homesteader .?

Fortunately, I was able to gain a few more hours of sleep without her middle of the night complaints.

since i'm coming out the tail end (now there's an image i'm not going to contemplate) of my first bout of spring allergy crud i've been sleeping what can best be described as "Like A Rock". 6-7hrs and i wake up exactly in the same position as i conked out in. this morning was flat on my back and mouth wide open. i don't think i snored (usually if i snore i know it because my throat will be sore). i hate that leathery tongue feeling. hydrate, hydrate! that is what we appreciate! :) (goofy mood)

Good Morning wonderful people! I can tell it's Monday morning and I haven't had enough coffee yet seeing how I'm not fully awake.

I stay up so I can get FH lunch packed and start the housework without dogs being under foot and up my butt or whining at gates (or jumping over gates) because I'm out of sight.
