we've been using sliced apples for quick snacks here, and when i want a little bit more substance to them i can put peanut butter on them.

this morning was the first time i'd made oatmeal in quite a while so i messed it up and the cup ran over in the microwave. i was momentarily distracted eating a few apple slices and spoonful of peanut butter (a snack while the oatmeal was cooking) and because i started the bowl of oatmeal with hot water the oats boiled over. once i cleaned it up it was all back on track. Mom got a nicely cleaned out microwave oven for her morning coffee... :)
I ate oats with water flaxseeds, coconut oil and turmeric yesterday. With a little honey it was absolutely delicious 😋

I have been sneezing my butt off for the last two weeks. I don't normally have allergy issues, but pollen has been REALLY high around here. Was hoping the rains and chill would have reduced it, but noooooo.....
As I wrote too @flowerbug
A little salt in warm water and rinse out those sinuses and swill around your eyes. It helps enormously

Coffee is ready! On my second cup, with Dandelion the lamb in my lap. She has a full tummy, a diaper that she just peed in and is warm and happy. She will go outside today with mom and brothers, I’ll bottle feed her during the day and bring her in tonight. It’s going to be raining and drizzling weather starting tonight for a few days.

I have found a little help on preventing pollen problems by using coconut oil as a barrier inside my nostrils, it only helps for so long but worth the effort

I usually use a q-tip with water to clean the nostrils in the evening. During the day at work, not so easy. I take quercetin daily for other issues, so I'm hoping it helps sinuses too.

I had one cup of coffee. DD wanted to go to the Dollar store and to a thrift store, so I hurried up and got ready and helped watch kids while she took forever looking for clothes to try on. She needs need dresses and skirts for church and finding pretty neat stuff. I came home and took all my plants out to the greenhouse on the patio and transplanted the morning glories into a pot that will stay inside the greenhouse at night and I will have to start putting them in the shade during the day and try to harden them off. I have some cabbage and kale outside in the greenhouse and they are going to spend the night out. I transplanted some cabbage, kale and tomatoes. I have more plants than I thought I had and more than I need again. I am trying to decide if there is anything else I want to start. I will plant seeds for pole beans, cucumbers, squash, lettuce, radishes, Swiss chard and I am not sure what else. I think I will look around the Farmer's Market for anything new or interesting. I have some Big Bertha bell peppers and some Cubanella peppers. My freezer is full of peppers. The garden is going to be very small this year and see what I think about it and if I want to go back to what I usually do next year, but when the tiller shows up Saturday I may just have him till all of it just in case. lol
